Sarah Hoff graduated from 51¶ÌÊÓÆµ with a B.A. in English Literature. Her first job was teaching high school English, followed by a publishing career. She began a second career in 2016 as a Certified Personal Trainer at Loyola, after being certified by ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine). Sarah starts clients off with body weight training to ensure postural stability, core strength, balance, good proprioception and breathing, then moves to strength training instruction (machines, both selectorized and stackable; cables; free weights), followed by Functional Fitness training to ensure longevity for ADLs (activities of daily life) and later, more innovative methods of exercise, including but not limited to, stability ball, resistance bands, medicine balls, kettlebells, circuts, combinations, and complexes. An avid exerciser, Sarah loves swimming, Yoga, Pilates, and InLine Skating. She lives in Baltimore City with her husband David and their children. Her favorite workout song is Bust A Move by Young DMC.
