Mission Statement
The McAuley Women’s Center is committed to empowering individuals by educating the community on student success, connection, and advocacy matters. Grounded in the Society of Jesus and the Sisters of Mercy, the Center aligns with Loyola’s mission to learn, lead, and serve. Inspired by Catherine McAuley’s focus on education and service, the Center aims to foster a welcoming and engaged community, highlighting the values of personal integrity, dignity, and respect for all.
In collaboration with other campus offices and departments, the Center provides vital resources, advocacy, and educational programs for students who experience sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking. The McAuley Center's core values include networking, leadership development, community engagement, and restorative practices.
